You are an important part of your center’s success. By taking part in Louisiana Pathways, you insure yourself of a clear path to career advancement. You also insure that the children in your care receive the best possible treatment. Here are your four simple steps to success:
- Enroll in Louisiana Pathways - Enroll and send in appropriate documentation of education and training, professional membership and service to the child care profession.
- Participate in an ongoing relationship with Louisiana Pathways - Submit current employment, education (CDA and NAC credentials),professional organization membership and contact information on a regular basis.
- Take advantage of educational opportunities - Be willing to attend trainings and enroll in college courses. Participate in the Louisiana Pathways scholarship program that provides monies for college tuition.
- Obtain and Maintain a current Child Development Associate credential (CDA) - Seek CDA training opportunities and take advantage of Technical Assistance provided by CCR&R.
